The story behind

Guerilla Coffee Company started in 2016 as a small café in the scenic surroundings of Sorø.

After six years as a small, cozy gathering place, the desire arose to take the next step. This was the beginning of our own coffee roasting in the back room.

The new initiative took off. More guests came, and the demand for our beans grew faster than the small roasting machine could keep up. This is where the idea of ​​opening a proper roasting plant came from – and what better location than the 100-year-old water tower at Sorø Station?

The project got off to a quick start, and after six months of extensive renovation, production could begin. A lot has happened since then, but the driving force is still the same: the love of coffee and the desire to share it with others.

At Guerilla Coffee, we fight for quality coffee in Danish homes, through sparring and learning.
Fun, time and quality is our mantra.

We are at the forefront of the fight against bad coffee both at home and abroad.

How can it be that high-quality restaurants are known to serve such poor coffee? And how can it be that the many office workers we have in Denmark have to sit around every day drinking the same bad coffee?
It's the little joys in life that we must remember to allow ourselves.
So the one krone difference between good and bad coffee should not be the reason we deprive ourselves and others of that joy.
